Return & Refund Policy

If your purchase isn’t quite right, here is how we handle returns and refunds for ink and toner cartridges.

1. Return Windows

Items can be returned for a refund or exchange, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Unopened items can be exchanged within 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • Defective or damaged items can be exchanged within 90 days from the date of purchase (the manufacturer's warranty may apply thereafter).
  • Incorrectly shipped items can be exchanged if reported within 7 business days of delivery.

2. Condition of Items

To be eligible for a full refund, items must meet the following criteria:

Unopened Items

To be considered unopened, items must be unused and in their original factory-sealed packaging.

Defective Items

Defective cartridges can be exchanged (or refunded at our discretion) regardless of packaging state. A cartridge is considered defective if:

  • The cartridge causes print quality issues (ex: streaking, leaking, light or blank pages).
  • Your printer does not recognize the cartridge.
  • The cartridge is damaged or leaking upon opening.
  • The cartridge fails to meet the advertised page yield under normal use.
Damaged Items

We take great care in packaging, but if your order arrives in less-than-perfect condition, we’ll make it right.

  • Shipping Damage: If the shipping packaging is visibly crushed, wet, or leaking powder upon delivery, please take a photo before opening it.
  • Reporting Window: Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. This allows us to file a timely claim with the carrier.
  • Internal Damage: If the shipping packaging looks fine but the product has signs of damage, the plastic seal is broken or the cartridge is leaking, stop use immediately. Do not attempt to install a leaking cartridge into your printer, as this may cause permanent hardware damage.

3. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept the return, exchange or refund any:

  • Consumable supplies that are more than 50% depleted.
  • Items damaged due to improper handling or use.
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance.
  • Items not purchased from The Printers Supply.

4. Refund & Exchange Process

Customer Error

Items ordered by error that have not been opened can be exchanged or refunded.

5. How to Start a Return

If you need to return or exchange an item, just follow the steps below:

Submit A Return Request
  • Contact us
  • Include your order number, product name or part number and the reason for return.
  • For damaged or defective items, attach a photo if possible.
Wait For Return Authorization
  • Once we receive your request, we’ll review it and provide return instructions.
  • Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Package The Item
  • Carefully repackage the item in its original packaging with all components.
  • Include a copy of your invoice or packing slip.
  • Clearly write your RA# on the outside of the package.
Ship The Return
  • Send the package to the return address provided.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or an error was made on our part.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
Inspection & Refund

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
  • Refunds may take 3 to 5 business days to appear on your statement.
